Membership Questions:

How can I join the Society?

L
K

You can join the Society at any of our events or shows or direct on our website.  Click About Us in the menu and then from the drop down menu select Join Us.

You can then see the membership options we have available and select the one that suits you.

Once payment has been received your membership will run from 12 months of your joining date.

What payment methods do you offer?

L
K

You can pay by Cash, Cheque, Bank Transfer or Debit/Credit card.  You can apply online and then post your payment to us, have a payment link emailed to you or call us and we can take your payment over the phone.

What happens if my membership expires?

L
K

If you have provided us with an email address then we will send you a reminder when your membership is due.

If your membership has expired for less than three months you can just pay your membership and it will continue.

If it is longer than three months you will have to join again as we have to by law remove your information after the three month period.

Showing Questions:

Can anyone enter your shows?

L
K

Anyone can enter our Beginners Classes and you can download a schedule on our Show Information Page.

All the classes for our One Day Show are also open to anyone to enter.  Our Three Day Show has “open” classes for anyone and “Members” classes that are just for members.

More information is in our schedules but if you have any questions please just get in touch and we will be pleased to answer them.

Do I have to provide my own vases?

L
K

No we will provide all the vases needed to stage your exhibits.  Please do not bring your own.

Should I bring any oasis?

L
K

Standard Floral Foam is banned at our shows but we do allow the use of Bio-degradeable Floral Foam.  We do have a small stock available at the shows which is available to buy.

You can also use newspaper or any other bio-degradeable material – if in doubt get in touch.

What else should I bring?

L
K

It is a good idea to bring scissors or scetars to cut your stems to length as well as a small watering can to help you top up your vases.

Also useful is a cloth to clean the staging table you have used to stage your exhibit.
