Every year the Cornish Dahlia Society plants a dahlia display garden at the Lost Gardens of Heliagn with over 1000 plants that have all been grown and supplied by members.
At the end of the season when the tubers are dug up some are donated to the Heligan Charity Tuber Sale to raise much needed funds for local charities. This years charity was St Petrocs and £320 was raised.
Our committee members Cyril Watkins, Pat and Roy Knight and Dave Primmer were on hand to sell the tubers and provide any advice and answer questions.
